Livia Carlini Schmidt

Livia is a senior administrator in our team and has worked in restructuring and insolvency since 2018. She is a qualified lawyer in Brazil and holds an LLM degree in Public International Law by the University of Westminster.

Having worked as a civil servant before moving to the UK, Livia has experience drafting and preparing documents and reports, as well as legal and administrative procedures. In the UK, she gained experience in boutique firms, dealing with small and medium businesses in all types of insolvency procedures – both solvent and insolvent. More recently, she has dealt with issues involving Bounce Back Loan (BBL) and Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) as part of the government’s Covid support package.

She is actively involved in training junior staff as well as supporting her colleagues in day-to-day tasks.

In her spare time, she likes to look for unique and antique items at thrift shops and to travel around the world. She is currently learning how to play the drums.
