Melanie Costello

Mel joined AABRS towards the end of 2023 as a Senior Administrator in our team and has worked in the restructuring and insolvency sector since 2018. She is also AAT qualified.

Prior to her career in insolvency, Mel worked in the customer services sector for over 15 years, gaining a wealth of experience from not only handling customer service queries at an escalated level but also within the IT department, migrating company data to other firms and later becoming a training officer with teams of 20+FTE.  During her time there she also studied for her AAT qualification taking evening classes at her local college.

Since 2018, Mel has managed a variety of complex cases such as CVA’s, CVL’s and MVL’s and assisted case managers with some administration. As a Senior Administrator she manages her own portfolion of cases and supports the training of junior members of staff, as well as supporting colleagues with other day to days tasks.

During her spare time, Mel enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active by going to the gym or long walks with Milo (her dog) and reading.
